This piece is inspired by a small but wonderful Bluebell woodland on the edge of the village of Littlebury Green. In the spring the cool fresh scent of Bluebells fills the air and the colour through the trees is a feast for the eyes! The work is composed by collage of mixed hand dyed fabrics and is extensively hand embroidered. The surround is painted repurposed linen fabric.
The textile piece measures approximately 30 x 30 cm and is float mounted onto off white mountboard.
The frame is white painted wood box frame with glass and measures 43 x 43 cm. The frame has a D ring for easy wall hanging.
